
Plum Creek announces new builder: National Builder of the Year in 2005 - Bigelow Homes
Plum Creek is built on the principles of New Urbanism, which include walkable neighborhoods with shops, schools and community amenities near homes. "Creating points of interaction is a priority for Plum Creek," said Bigelow CEO Jamie Bigelow. "The presence of a neighborhood, places for people to enjoy friends and family, attracted us" to the development.

Austin Community College contracts 96 acres in Plum Creek for North Hays County Campus
Austin Community College has agreed to purchase 96 acres in Kyle for $9.84 million. The land is located in the Plum Creek area, near the intersection of Kohlers Crossing and Kyle Parkway, next to a planned commuter rail line.
